PRAYER
“Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.”
— Psalm 62:8

As Christians, we have the honor of bringing to God blessings and concerns in prayer, and knowing that God hears us.  Though God knows what is in our minds and on our hearts before we ask, as part of our relationship with God, we offer up praise and lay down our burdens before Him.  By praying together, we build each other up in faith and in times of need, carry each other to God for healing and comfort.
At Christ Church, we pray for one another in many ways.  Our prayer table reaches out to the community, offering prayer for any situation that comes across the sidewalk, showing our faith in God and His provision by our bold prayers for others.  We gather at a special healing service to ask His blessing on the sick.  Our prayer team and prayer group meet to offer up the concerns of our friends, family and fellow parishioners and our prayer chain provides the opportunity for continual lifting up in prayer of those injured or in need.

Below is a list of our prayer ministries; if you would like to explore serving Christ Church in this way, place contact the church office at 607.547.9555 or Irene Parker (607.547.8275) to learn more about these ministries.
